My vision is to share resources that will help you create an all around smooth, engaging, and impactful classroom!
The crew helping me set up my first classroom
The beginning
I started teaching mid-year in a high school fresh out of college. Talk about being thrown into the deep end! I had some good knowledge from college and I had some classroom experience. But, nothing really prepares you for being a teacher until you have your own classroom and you just go for it!
When I started my students had a permanent substitute teacher because their teacher had previously quit on them. So as a result I was coming into a classroom that basically had no structure or expectations. I felt quite overwhelmed but Praise Jesus I had an awesome support system and I made it through the semester and didn’t run away from teaching!
Here & Now
I now have a few years under my belt as a teacher and let me tell you, it has not been easy. But with each passing year it does get easier. I have learned so many things. I have seen what works and what doesn’t work. I have grown in many ways. I have adapted, modified, and completely thrown out some things. I am still learning and growing. Teaching is a journey and I am enjoying the ride!
My awesome coworkers!
What's to come
Throughout my teaching career I have noticed that it has been difficult to find resources for high school teachers. Most of the resources, tools, tips, and tricks are geared toward elentrary school teachers. Hey, they’re killing it, but what about all my high school teachers?? We need tips and tricks too!
Thus, All Around Educación was born! Although I am still learning and growing I have definitely gained knowledge and experience that have helped me tremendously in my classroom! I hope that what I share will help you and your students as well!
Tutoring
While I was going to school to become a teacher I served people in my community by tutoring students online. It was a great way for me to help students succeed in their academic journey! I now offer private online tutoring services for all subjects!

The fun stuff
When I am not at work I love to spend time with my husband and my family! I would describe myself as a homebody but I do enjoy being outdoors. One of my favorite things to do is play pickle ball! I also enjoy exercising and reading.
